Update is bresh of fresh air for the best painting app around!

There are many apps for painting and sketching in the app store. If youre an illustrator or just want to doodle,sketch or play with color there are a bunch of good apps that will satisfy. If youre a painter however there is no better app than ArtRage. ArtRage for desktop,iPad and iPhone are all different in feel and as you decrease in device size so do the features available, but AR for iPhone is still a lovely little pocket tool for exploring virtual oil paint. ArtRage is,in my opinion. the most realistic painting software around, and as a painter Ive tried them all. Try using the paint tube tool and squeeze out a few colors and use the palette knife to blend and youll see what I mean.
The UI for this app makes it very easy to get to the tool you want quickly which is important. Its also not crammed with tons of settings and hidden gestures. Aside from a simple menu if you want to change the size of your tool its three fingers up or down. Thats it.
This update brings the iPhone app up to speed with iOS7/8 but I look forward to more tools being added. Ive heard from the developers that major updates for both iOS versions are coming this year,so Im excited.
