Good app

It Really looks like oil painting . Plus its free so I got it today and its awesome I even created a wallpaper for my iPhone . Thanx

Amazing app! Please add iphone 5 support!

That would make this app perfect. Everything else has already been said by reviewers.

Love the app..not the lag

Ive looked at several art apps and this one is the best. I love the textures you can create with the different tools and mediums. It is simple to use and surprisingly precise for my tiny iPhone screen. Lost one star for the occasional lag and crashes.

What a gem!

I recommend it to all my artsy friends. This app is way too underrated. I love it and Ive made great things with it

Good but...

It may be due to the fact Im a huge fan of ArtRage Studio Pro (the full, home-computer version) that Im only mildly impressed with this iPhone/iPad version. The brushes are limited but nice where they apply. Paint thickness is limited, too. Id also like to see the water color features of the PC version brought into the mobile version - theres a lot lacking when all you have for painting is oil. However, having said that the features that are present are fantastic and very true to the full version. I wish I could apply more "paint thinner" options and would expect water-color to be the same (with water). So, in closing, Id say this is a nice "diet" version of the full software and theres really no reason for it to be even on a mobile platform. However, if Ambient Design decides to roll out the full spread of features to mobile... this may be one of the greatest painting programs out there because they *really* know how to do it well!

Horrible

>_>

Great!

I think you should put the primary colors on default. Its nice you can actually mix colors.

Awesome

Im an ArtRage lover through and through, so of course I leapt at a mobile version as soon as I was able! Ive yet to experience any crashes and the lag was expected for this kind of program running on iPhone processing power. I dont find the limitations very annoying as the UI is restricted by the device itself. All in all, this is now how I handle long trips without much to do. Its pretty amazing what you can do with this and I just wish I had an iPad so I could use a stylus on a larger display when on the go.

Needs stencil

When I got it I assumed it would have all the same features as the comp version like stencils and text etc. I was disappointed that its like a really watered down version. :(

Finally!

Thanks for the iPhone 5 support!

Keeps crashing

I will give it more stars once it stays open longer than 30 seconds

Problems

I thought this app was great. I love to draw and was able to make beautiful pictures. WAS able to. Now I cant. Here are the list of problems.... -crashes -wont let me use the palette knife. The main tool I use to shade with so its very important to me. -wont let me use the pen. My main drawing tool. -wont let me undo on most pictures. -wont let me do anything to most pictures. -when trying to duplicate pictures, it duplicates an old picture I have already deleted. -randomly scribbles on my paper. Without the undo button, it then ruins my drawing. -randomly zooms out when I start to draw, leaving a large line through my picture. And not being able to use the undo button, my picture is trash. I really liked this app. Now I dont. It used i be all I did on my iPod. Yeah, not any more.

Awesome and fun!

So cool and realistic to paint with

Wow!!! Amazing! ...but...

This would be absolutely perfect, but there is one biggish issue... If I put my finger/stylus at one point and drag down, the paint/ink/whatever does NOT start where I started with my finger! It starts about a centimeter away. Doesnt seem like much, but when you have a small screen already... Yikes! Also, along with that, there is a bit of a lag from when I swipe to when things show up... Hmm. On the other hand, though, you have paint that actually dries and smudges accordingly, a pencil that smudges like a pencil, and the same for crayons. Opacity for layers... I dont know about individual paint yet, though. There are 8 types of "brushes" (brush (oil paint), pen, palette, tube, fill, pencil, crayon, and eraser) and each has 4 options for it. The paint, crayons, pencil, etc each have different textures and blend differently. Even though there are more good things than bad, I have to admit that I do not like the way that the paint stroke does not start where I do. I will continue to try get used to this app, continue to update my review, and will look forward to new updates!!! Also, I apologize for the long review, but I thought someone buying an app would like an in-depth review to read over.

Great app!

This is a great app however its needs a color picker. Something you can use to pick past colors from the painting, instead of trying to recreate them! This is a realistic and awesome app! Overall it is perfect! With many options while painting!

Incredible!!! Highly addictive!

I absolutely love this app! Brilliant and all this on my lil ol iPhone. Wow! I cant wait for more updates and how much better it gets. I just keep sketching/painting more and more and everywhere. People watching me are impressed and I have turned a few on in getting the app... To their joy as well. Keep up the great work!

Nice

Flawless except theres no option to delete a sample color after youve saved it.

AWFUL

The app is glitching.

Horrible app

This app is horrible. When i start it, the screen is tiny and i cant do anything. Anything i tap does absolutely nothing. I made a mark once but i wasnt even touching the screen. I have an iPhone 4S so i dont know if it is the phone or the app. Please fix soon.

Needs work....

I really want to use this app. Sadly the zom is very buggy, and the brushes too. PLZ FIX
